If your wedding or event is on a Saturday from May – October we advise contacting us as soon as possible (up to 18 months in advance) to ensure best availability.

But don’t panic! A lot of our Saturday weddings and events are booked within the same year (sometimes only a month away) so it’s always worth it to contact us and check.

Here are some average numbers as a guideline for planning purposes only:

  • Wedding cocktail hour: 2 hours
  • Wedding dinner + reception: 4 – 6 hours
  • Restaurants + bars: 3 – 4 hours
  • Corporate events: 3 hours

Keep in mind, these numbers are only a guideline. Every event has its own needs and we are here to help you craft the perfect timeline.

Yes. We always want to put on the best performance possible which does mean taking short set breaks, and a meal break on longer bookings. On average, we play 45 minutes of music at a time. However, we’re more than comfortable working around speeches, dances and anything else you may have planned. During our set breaks we are happy to offer our curated set break playlists to maintain the energy of the event.

Yes. Our standard sound package is included with every booking and is suitable for events up to 200 guests. Custom event sound and lighting quotes for events over 200 guests are available through our preferred supplier.

Of course! We take special requests up to a month before the date of your event. If you have a special request, don’t be shy! We love a challenge and have played everything from AC/DC to Ella Fitzgerald.

Yes. Some venues require bands to carry performer’s liability insurance to protect you, the venue, and the band. This is a standard industry practice and we can offer your venue a certificate, if required, at no additional charge.

Lady Be Good is available for travel across Canada. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to perform in the United States due to a significant backlog in the processing of P2 visas (6-8 months) by the United States government.
