KAT LANGDON AND LADY BE GOOD ARE THRILLED TO MAKE THEIR JAZZ BISTRO DEBUT WITH A CURATED COLLECTION OF STANDARDS, SOULFUL R&B, AND MODERN POP. KAT LANGDON HAS BEEN HEARD ON TORONTO’S 91.1 JAZZ FM, AND SEEN ON CITYTV’S BREAKFAST TELEVISION. SHE’S PERFORMED AT THE BEACHES AND TD TORONTO JAZZ FESTIVALS, IN A WIDE ARRAY OF VENUES – FROM SMALL CLUBS TO LARGE THEATRES, LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY, AND SANG A DUET WITH SERENA RYDER ON SERENA’S LAST TOUR. SHE PRODUCED AND STARRED IN THE STANDING-ROOM-ONLY SMASH HIT THE QUEEN BEY: A TRIBUTE TO BEYONCE || MRS. CARTER, AND SHE IS CURRENTLY IN PRE-PRODUCTION ON A STAGE ADAPTATION OF THE 1963 TV SPECIAL THE JUDY GARLAND CHRISTMAS SHOW. AS A THOUGHT LEADER ON THE ART OF SINGING, HER PODCAST – BIG VOICES: SINGERS ON SINGING – WAS RECENTLY SELECTED BY ITUNES AS A “NEW AND NOTEWORTHY” MUSIC PODCAST.
KAT, EWAN, AND GEORGE ARE ALL GRADUATES OF HUMBER COLLEGE’S JAZZ PROGRAM, AND EACH ONE HAS GONE ON TO APPLY THAT EXPERTISE TO A RANGE OF STYLES AND GENRES. KAT MET GEORGE THROUGH HER HUMBER CONNECTIONS, AND THE TWO IMMEDIATELY CLICKED AS A MUSICAL UNIT. GEORGE’S INITIATION WAS A TRIAL-BY-FIRE EXPERIENCE – THEIR FIRST GIG TOGETHER WAS A LIVE TELEVISION PERFORMANCE. EWEN LATER JOINED THE GROUP, BRINGING HIS VIRTUOSIC TALENT AND CREATIVITY. You can catch jazz musicians from Toronto’s Lady Be Good performing on the second Friday of every month at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada for Friday Night Jazz. Lady Be Good books jazz musicians in Toronto. Bands are available for weddings of all sizes, corporate events, corporate galas, private parties, theme parties, cocktail hour music, dinner music, dancing and more.
Inquire early for events on Saturday and Sunday from April to October for best availability. Pricing includes travel within 1 hour of downtown Toronto. Additional travel pricing is available on request.
